Thanks for the video tutorial! I love the Modern Medley! I have trouble deciding which patterns go and where they should lie. You have taken the guess work out of it for me with this DP! I also love your examples using the plain cardstock that is embossed. I will have to try the Venetian one too since that is my second favorite. Great job as always!
Dawn,
I have wanted to learn how to do this technique! Thank you so much for doing a video on it! You always make learning something new fun and full of tips for us!
Great Cards!
Great video Dawn. I have seen many ways of doing this technique and yours looks the easiest … thanks!!
I have been trying to figure out this technique, thanks so much for the video! One question: you showed the starburst horizontally, how would the measurements change for a vertical card?
Would also love to see measurements for vertical design. Thanks – awesome video.
Thanks, this is beautiful! I would also be interested in the vertical measurements.
Thank you everyone – glad you like it! For a vertical card, the measurements of the DSP are exactly the same. The panel that you put the DSP strips on measures 3-3/4″ x 3-1/2″. Hope that helps.
Dawn , I got the video and I wrote all the sizes down but I watch it 3 times and you never said what the size of your base card is,was it 4 1/4 X 5.5 I will wait on you to tell me the size of the base.
Thank you ,
Mary Redford
Mary – it’s a standard card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, enjoy!
Thanks for the video – love the design and was too “lazy” to figure it out by myself! I’m think Christmas cards!!!
I’ve made many of the starburst cards using your instructions. I just love them. Can you tell me how big the strips are for the circle sunburst. I can’t wait to make one.
