This lovely card is surprisingly easy to create, which is why it's today's QC card. With just a few passes through your Big Shot Die Cutting Machine – you'll have a stunning Lattice Window Card in no time at all.
I originally saw this type of card shared by my sweet friend, Deb Valder. I had to make one right away and add my own touches. It was one of the favorites with my club members this summer.

Oh my, Dawn. This is gorgeous. And I agree with you, it really does fall into the Quick and Cute world. So beautiful.
Hi Dawn. This is a wonderful card, however no matter how I cut the paper, I can’t come up with the measurements you say. When I fold an 8.5 card in half, it’s still 4.25″. Can you please explain how you score at 5.5″.
Bewildered,
Rhonda
Dawn,
This is a homerun!! You hit this one outta the park!!! Love it!! Looks so CLASSY!!
I hope you don’t mind I am gonna use it for an upcoming workshop. I’m a big Fan and TFS!! Judi
Bewildered, Rhonda: sorry about that. I’ve updated the measurements for the card base. It should be 4-1/4″ x 11″.
GORGEOUS!!! TFS Dawn!
Dawn I LOVE this card! Ingenious! It’s a QE, quick and elegant.
Ter 😉
What a beautiful card, Dawn! I love it! The way that you explained it, it doesn’t sound hard at all. Can’t wait to try it. TFS!
Rhonda,
Did you see the pop up words that said it was 4-1/4 x 11? Maybe it depends on which way you fold your card. Not trying to sound rude, just trying to help see if we can figure this out. If anyone else has any ideas, please reply.
Oops! Forgot to say how neat the trick is for measuring ribbon. I surely hate to waste beautiful ribbon.
This is an awesome card. The Lattice Die has been on my wish list and now I really want it! Thanks for this video and your great tips for creating such wonderful projects.

Such a fantastic card, Dawn! Thanks for the video and the tips. Your videos are always super helpful and well-explained. I love the little notes that you put in there for the key points (helps those of us who can’t hear as well!). 🙂
Omg Dawn . Very cool quick and easy card. It opens up a lot of ideas maybe a church window at Christmas I’m thinking how to color the vellum that could be difficult , Adding some Christmas pine l on the outside of the windows ? , Love how that die fits Perfectly Inside that framlit. TFS . Anne
Absolutely stunning, Dawn! I have yet to use my Lattice Die and now you’ve inspired me. Great formula for cutting the ribbon. I’ve been having them wrap it off the roll, but I like this much better. TFS!
Me gusta mucho la tarjeta esta super bonita.
